Thanks for your interest in the St. Francis Women's Connection!
Since 2017, we have been a faith & friendship group sharing prayer, faith, friendship, great food, works of mercy, a love of Christ, service to others and, yes, fun!
There are no fees and all women ages 18+ are welcome to join us. Friends and women from other parishes are also most welcome.
Our current WC service mission is Blessing Bags -- bags assembled with food, fun, prayer & care. We've made "uplifting families" in this difficult economy our mission through our Blessing Bags. Four times annually, we give the bags out from our annex to any family that requests one -- not all of whom are considered "families in need". All families feeding children at today's grocery prices need a hand.
FOR OUR UPCOMING MEETINGS...see our bulletin or email us HERE to sign up for our emails. Also get latest news on our Women's Connection Group Facebook Page. Click HERE to send a member request.
Most of our dishes for our Journey through the BIble Buffet were foods from Biblical times or made from ingredients mentioned in the Bible.
Here are a few of the requested recipes:
Date Bread with Dates Soaked in Orange Liqueur
Cucumbers with Dill Dip
SCRIPTURE COOKIES
The Connection builds community among the women of the parish and friends through spiritual, social and charitable gatherings.
We encourage and inspire women to:
-- connect with their Catholic faith through prayer and scripture projects
-- connect with their friends while building new friendships
-- connect with service and kindness in reflection of Christ's love
-- demonstrate the grace and unity we possess to make
a difference as women connected in God's light.
There are no fees or dues. We simply appreciate your contributions toward our charitable missions.
