OFFERTORY: $9,525
MORTGAGE: $6,807
“He who is faithful in
very little is faithful also in much; and he who is dishonest in very little
is dishonest also in much.” -Luke 16:30
As in this world, so also in the
Kingdom of God: be trustworthy in small
things as well as large. Loving God, lead me on the path of faithfulness in
all things, whether they are large or small.
Thank you for
your generosity!

Join a St. Francis Cor Unum Meal Center Team

The new
Cor Unum Meal Center at St. Patrick Church in Lawrence has been a very
busy place the past year, feeding at times up to 500 people in an
evening. It's an amazing effort to feed the hungry and homeless in
our nearby community.
St.
Francis is assigned in five teams on Thursdays evenings, and we
could use more help. If you could spare one Thursday night a
month (4:15 pm to 6:30 pm) to wait on tables, bus, work in the
kitchen, etc.,your help would be most welcome. We could
especially use more men to help bus tables and carry heavy bins of
dishes!
SPECIAL REQUEST: If anyone could spare ONE hour once
a month, we could use clean-up help on Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30
(sweeping, mopping, dishes, etc). The rest of the team is typically
too exhausted after working a full day and doing a Cor Unum shift to
tackle the clean-up.
Cor
Unum is located on Rte. 28 near the Andover line -- not in the heart
of the city. Parking is available at the site. In spite of the hard
work, we leave there feeling like we've made a difference. Please
join us. Call Debbie at 978-453-9882 or email
debhovan@comcast.net.

Do you want to know more about the Catholic
Church? Do you know anyone who is interested in learning more about the
Church? We believe that the Catholic Faith is an extraordinary gift,
one that we are called to share. Classes are beginning soon! We invite
all non-Catholics, non-Confirmed adult Catholics or anyone who might be
interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith to attend. For
more information or to sign up, call the Parish Office at (978) 452-6611
and speak to Kathy.
Adults:
We are looking for 8 to 12 adults who would be interested in helping with
specific events this year. Please check out our calendar on the St.
Francis website. If you are interested in helping with any of these
events, please call the Parish Office.
